Okay. I know I am not the only one who is fed up with all the crap going on with our country. Why are people so compelled to be complacent with the direction we are taking the nation in.
Now it seems that our beloved President Bush has a new historically low approval rate. Why are we still allowing him in office if the majority of the population doesn’t want him. At the same time, it might be a good thing to keep him in office. With all his cronies leaving him, he won’t have the brain power to screw anything else up. Plus, I don’t think that having Cheney in office will make things any better.
The problem that I see is that people are forgetting what democracy is about. I believe our system is flawed but the power to change still lyes with the people. If people would get off their lazy asses, we could start to get a message across and bring the country back into a good direction.
Then again, I am also to blame. I love to bitch and complain but being lazy is also one of the most enjoyable American pastimes. How am I supposed to find time to fight the fight when I have so much reality TV to watch. Isn’t that why we elected and pay other people to speak for us and take vacations with lobbyist and our tax money?
